Fuerteventura
Located only 100 km from the African Coast, Fuerteventura is the second largest Canary Island. Its privileged climate makes it an ideal destination for holiday-makers.
Although most of the land is made up of stone and rock, Fuerteventura boasts magnificent sandy beaches and huge sand dunes.
Fuerteventura is also famous for being one of the oldest of all the Canary Islands and for its volcanic origin.
Every year the island hosts many water sports events which include surfing, windsurfing and diving.
Some places worth visiting are the Betancuria Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography and Tefia Craft Village just to name a few.
