Located to the west of Malaga and Torremolinos, Benalmadena is one of the main tourist centers of Costa del Sol. Due to its privileged position, sitting on a hill, the city boasts magnificent views and excellent beaches.
Some of Benalmadena's main tourist attractions are Puerto Marina, which abounds with shops, cafes and restaurants as well as nightclubs and bars; Plaza del Sol y Mar, now known as '24 hour square', since its bars and clubs are open all night; the Tivoli Theme Park, in the village of Arroyo de la Miel; and the Torrequebrada hotel, featuring a golf course, casino, restaurants and an international show.
In addition, you can also visit the Castle of Bil-Bil, a structure built on the beach front in 1934 in the neo-Arabian style; and the Muro gardens, designed by Cesar Manrique.
