After WWII, the architect August Perret was in charge of reconstructing the city. Le Havre is characterized by its low skyline, thus making the sea visible at the end of almost every street.
The nearby beaches are a great place for relaxing. The city also has plenty of charming cafes and lovely restaurants.
Le Havre has a warm and temperate climate. In summer, temperatures can reach up to 30C.
