Bobo Dioulasso is the largest town inhabited by the Bobo people. The city has charming streets and a bustling market called the Grand Marche.
Burkinabe people are mainly Muslim and their official language is French. The country has warm, dry winters and hot, wet summers. Burkinabe specialties include brochettes (meat cooked on a skewer) and chicken dishes. The country's currency is the West African franc.
