Costa Brava
Situated on the northern coast of Catalunia, Costa Brava stretches from Portbou to Blanes offering a diversity of scenery as you move along the coast.
Some places of interest include the magnificent scenery of Cadaqués and the Salvador Dalí house museum at Portlligat; the fortifications at Roses; the Greek and Roman ruins at Empúries; Medes islands (l'Estartit); the mediaeval villages Pals and Peratallada; the botanical gardens at Blanes, Lloret de Mar and Calella de Palafrugell.

During the summer season the coast comes alive with the singing of traditional sea shanties (havaneres) at Calella de Palafrugell, the festival of the Castell de Peralada, the festival of Camp Roig, and the festival of the Porta Ferrada of Sant Feliu de Guíxols. The cuisine of Costa Brava enjoys an international prestige.
